Some time ago we were approached by an anthropologist and professor with a problem
In an African country poor farmers had to hire dowsers to designate the place for a well for water. . The dowsers did this with great ceremony and magical rituals.
Dowsing is very old. In 1420 for the first time documented, that a fork was used (Vienna).
Since the Middle Ages with its magical rituals and today little has changed. Even now there are plenty of believers. These people we have to disappoint . We declare dowsing using simple physical formulas.
What is very special, we have brought the understanding of the Genius Loci (the soul of a place, Etruscan 1000 BC) and dowsing in connection.
