Sacrifice

In this chapel is a statue of the dead Christ honored (15th century).
Pilgrims sacrifice rusty nails to this statue. Among them are relatively many gypsies who, sometimes sacrificed her braids.   Sacrificing nails done outside through a hole in the window and one seeks   cure against boils and other ailments. There are also pictures in front of the statue.
Rusty nails and boils seem similar, therefore this relationship. It is also the riveting of an ailment. Previously they were also beaten in the door and the door posts. In the picture Sacrifice you see in the middle, a bowl of nails lying.

Why Gypsies? That has to do with the beautiful legend of the 4th nail. Christ hanging on the cross with three nails. That should have been 4, the absence of the 4th nail and the Gypsies is inseparable.

The drawing shows the different types of power line running. The chapel was built on a hartmann-line (H). In front of the altar a waterline (W). Crisscross the altar 2 curry lines (C) and at the door a Benker (B). You walk on the Hartmann-line to the altar. You actually begins at the intersection Benker-hartmann, there begins the aisle. Therefore you immediately feel the power of this place.
    What a wonderful design.
